American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Staten Island is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Staten Island follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We love Royal Crown. Whenever I get the chance to go back home, this place is the first place to stop on my list. The food is awesome and there's so much to choose from. I usually get the Chicken Cutlet Vodka Parm. I take home 8-10 loaves of their Prosciutto Bread and Chocolate Bread and pop them in the freezer so I can enjoy them until my next visit.

My favorite place on the island! Every visit is an amazing experience. The food is always fresh, delicious, and made with so much care. The bakery instantly brings back childhood memories with its incredible selection of classic treats and homemade flavors. What truly sets this place apart is the service. Everyone is so warm, welcoming, and genuinely wants to make sure you leave happy. You can feel the kindness the moment you walk through the door, and it's one of those rare places where great people and great food come together perfectly. I honestly can't stop coming back because it just makes you feel good. Whether you're stopping in for a meal, a sweet treat, or just to brighten your day, this place never disappoints. And the rainbow cookies? They're my ultimate weakness! They're perfectly soft, flavorful, and impossible to resist. I always leave with more than I planned to buy!

I totally get the hype now. Quick service, generous portions, and delicious food. Took some pics of my food, but hubby ate his chicken sandwich before I could take a shot. He absolutely loved it too. We'll be back to try out more!

We stopped here on a Saturday afternoon in October for some treats while traveling. The bakery was recommended by a bartender in Raleigh, NC, who we met on a different trip and he was from Long Island. The parking lot was full when we arrived. We parked around the corner on the street. The line to order was backed out to the door but it moved pretty fast. There is a lot of baked goods here. Having never been here before we werenβt sure what to try so we got a few cookies, a couple mini cannolis and a slice of cake to go. I only got a picture of the cake but you can see the cookies in the pictures of the displays I posted. Everything was excellent. The cookies were my favorite. The carrot cake had a bit of orange flavor to it which was surprising but I really enjoyed it. Nothing was overly sweetened either which was nice. Staff were friendly and fast moving. Their bakery products are in high demand from what we saw and after tasting them we understand why. We donβt have many authentic bakeries at home so this was a wonderful treat for us.

I've been coming here for years & firmly believe they have the best bagels on NYC. Their chocolate chip bagel in & of itself is so damn heavenly, you don't even need to put cream Cheese on it. It's chocolaty & soft all by itself. They have a huge selection of breads & cakes to choose from. I tried the Olive bread which absolutely phenomenal. It's soft & airy with s ton of olives stuffed inside of it. Got a cake from here for my birthday as well. Staff is friendly & they work fast like a well oiled machine.
